Our Leaders
DR. BRETT AXELROD, ELMSFORD NY
Q. What path brought you to ChiroDestiny?
A: I love to share what I’ve learned with other chiropractors. I want to see other DC's be able to reach their full potential. Rick and I became good friends and shared a vision of creating a coaching company together to create hope and inspiration for our colleagues.
Q. What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?
A. I am known professionally for teaching a daily routine called the HOUR OF POWER. It consists of having written goals, saying affirmations and doing visualizations/meditations on a daily basis to reprogram your subconscious mind to a successful and empowering mindset. I have a knack for inspiring and motivating chiropractors out of a slump and off of a plateau to a sense of excitement and enthusiasm to practice again.
Q.What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
A. The one problem I am best at solving is helping DC's to create empowering belief systems from limiting belief systems and to create the necessary state management to handle any challenge in their life personally and professionally.
Q. Who have you worked with in the past? And what have you done for them?
A. I have worked with chiropractors from all walks of life from the start up to the doctor seeing 800 visits/week. I help them to get clear about what the next phase of their life, both personally and professionally, could look like and then help them design the action steps to manifest it.
Q. What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy?
A. Personally, I am passionate about staying in great shape and being really fit. I am also a vegetarian as well. I love playing basketball especially against younger kids and having the ability to not only keep up, but continue to beat them based on experience. I also love spending time with my wife and 2 daughters. I get great pride in watching my two girls work through academic challenges, and then watching their self-esteem grow. It’s been a fascinating journey watching them mature into young woman. Kudos to my amazing wife, Jill.
Q. Why would someone not want to work with you?
A. Someone would not want to work with me if they are not prepared to do whatever it takes to succeed. If they going into the coaching relationship half-heartedly and not prepared to work harder on themselves than they do on their practice.
Q.What is your grand, audacious goal? What do you wish people would know, believe, do?
A. My grand, audacious goal is to build ChiroDestiny into the premiere Coaching and Success company and become completely financially independent so I can help as many DCs as possible, and go wherever I want to with whomever I want to. I wish people would believe that all success and prosperity comes from who they are and that they have all the control in the world once they learn to change their thinking, create a feeling of expectancy, and take inspired action.
DR. RICK MARKSON, N. MIAMI BEACH FL
Q. What path brought you to ChiroDestiny?
A: From the first time we met in 1997, it was “Bro-mance” at first site. Brett and I knew that we wanted to help chiropractors grow personally and professionally. We do this through our own brand of “Edu-tainment”
Q. What are you known for professionally? What do you have a knack for?
A. I have been raised in chiropractic and success philosophy since I was born. I knew from the age of 6 that I was going to follow in my dad’s footsteps as a chiropractor. I performed in musical theatre through high school and sang in a band in college. I use those stage skills in my practice and my coaching to keep audiences engaged, entertained, and helping them to see what’s possible.
Q.What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
A. I would say I’m best at building rapport with all personality types. My goal is to help people fulfill THEIR goals. I have no judgment or ego behind my coaching. It is all about them. Each coaching client becomes a part of my family, and my family is my highest value.
Q. Who have you worked with in the past? And what have you done for them?
A. I have coached hundreds of doctors and CA’s and I have spoken in front of tens of thousands. If I even had a little impact that allowed those people to become more self-aware, so they were able to turn their weaknesses into strengths, I did my job.
Q. What are you passionate about personally? What do you really enjoy?
A. My highest values are family, friends, and passion. I love contributing to others, both in practice and in coaching. I love to work on my weaker areas. I love to set goals and achieve them. I love to use my creativity to help others break through. I’m most passionate about experiences. I don’t care much about material things. I am more about sharing experiences with the people I love.
