The holiday season is in full swing – cold weather, holiday festivities, and winter comforts often make it a time where many people slow down. With such a crazy year, it’s understandable to let things slide. But it’s more important than ever to make sure you finish the year out strong in terms of your chiropractic practice. Here are our tips.
Don’t Let Attachment to Goals Rob You of Victory
2020 has been a challenging year. As entrepreneurs, we are typically competitive in nature and have a vision and goals with a desire for things to work a certain way. When you planned your goals for this year, there is no way you could have accounted for a global pandemic. Rather than wallow in what you didn’t accomplish this year, focus on what you did. To finish the year strong, appreciate how far your practice has come despite all the challenges you’ve faced and reset your outcomes according to the current situation.
Progress, Not Perfection
At the start of the year, you probably created a list of all you were going to accomplish. Some of it may not have happened due to pandemic-related challenges, but was that the case for everything? Or were you just stuck waiting for the right time? Don’t be stuck waiting for the perfect time, paralyzed by the illusion of perfection when you can focus on creating progress. Take stock of the progress you’ve made this year and focus on continuing to improve.
Reset, Recharge, Recommit
We all want more time, right? We are constantly working to improve our chiropractic practices, but if we keep going at 100 mph every day, we’re bound to crash. To avoid this burnout, take the time throughout the year to reset your goals, recharge your batteries, and recommit. If you want to finish strong, it’s important to take the time you need to recharge your mindset.
